Unwrap the magic with the incredible Hot Chocolate Cake recipe I followed.
Winter is here, and I have been craving hot chocolate for quite a few days now. While looking for inspiration, I came across a delightful Hot Chocolate Cake recipe. So, I decided to give Hot Chocolate Cake a try.
The Hot Chocolate Cake turned out incredibly moist; while the flavour was fantastic, it was the moistness that truly won me over.
1Nestlé MILKMAID Mini
1 cup Maida
3 tbsp Cocoa Powder
½ tsp Baking Powder
½ tsp Cinnamon Powder
½ tsp Soda Bicarbonate
50g Butter
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
100 ml Aerated Soda
For Hot Chocolate Milk:
1 cup NESTLÉ a+ Milk
1 tbsp powderedSugar
2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
2 tbsp Dark Chocolate Chips
Grease an 8” baking tin and dust it with flour. Preheat the oven to 180o C. Sieve together maida, cocoa powder, cinnamon powder, baking powder, and soda bicarbonate.
Soften butter in a mixing bowl, add Nestlé MILKMAID to it, and beat well. Now add vanilla essence. Add maida mixture and aerated soda alternately to the batter till all the maida and soda are used up.
Pour the batter into the baking tin and bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or till the toothpick inserted in the centre of the cake comes out clean. Remove from oven.
For hot chocolate milk, combine all the ingredients and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring continuously until the cocoa powder's raw taste disappears.
Add the hot chocolate milk to the hot cake, allow it to soak the chocolate milk and serve.
